Going to California has been one of the best experiences in my college career. I have learned so much about myself, as well as about what I believe I would like to do with my education after college.
The most important lesson I have learned is that learning will never stop. In every position that I will hold throughout my career, I will need to continue learning. That is something every company taught me. I have also learned that culture is a very important thing within the company and that I am able to adapt to a new culture that is similar, yet very different than what I am used to.
When I was offered this opportunity by Barcley Johnson, I did not know what to make of it. I knew that it would be a great experience, but I did not know that it would change my outlook for the rest of my life. I would like to thank my professor and Western Michigan University for offering such an amazing program that helps students experience real-life activities outside of the classroom. Also, I would like to thank all the alumni for making this possible and teaching that once you are a Bronco, you’re always a Bronco.
